For over two decades, DRC has designed and rehabilitated line segments, including tunnels, viaducts, aerial guideways, embankments and grade level rights-of-way, for transit improvement programs. Projects have been completed for commuter, light rail and subway systems primarily for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO).

D R Consultants (DRC) transportation engineers specialize in the planning, design and construction management of all forms of mass transit—heavy and light rail, streetcars and bus rapid transit. DRC began it’s mass transit portfolio with the Los Angeles METRO Red Line planning and design team. DRC completed the civil design for the Metro Pasadena Line, Memorial Park Station, the Metro Red Line Segments 2 and 3, Engineering, Environmental Services and Construction Management for the Metro Green and Orange Lines. Most recently, DRC was awarded a METRO Highway Programs Planning and Deliverables Prime Contract for design and engineering which is currently active.
