DRC is performing design work on the Wilshire/Rodeo station on the D Line Extension (formerly Purple Line), Section 2 project, extending the high-capacity rail system westward, 2.67 miles of twin-bored tunnels underneath Wilshire Boulevard, from the Wilshire/La Cienega station to new stations at Wilshire/Rodeo in Beverly Hills and Constellation Blvd in Century City. Tutor Perini Corporation/O&G Industries is managing construction of the $2.6-billion design-build project. DRC is responsible for the design and engineering of all street improvements, temporary and permanent utilities, storm drains, and sanitary sewers at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Beverly Drive along Wilshire through Canon Drive and Crescent Drive.
